How better to celebrate the upcoming holiday than by donning a festive vintage frock? Well I have just begun listing my holiday line and wanted to give all of my faithful readers a sample:
I especially love this dress because in many ways it reminds me of Princess Diana's "Dress for Scottish Dancing" (click on link to read the eVintage Village Village blog about this dress).
I thought these would be fun Cigarette Girl costumes or just fun for a special night out! As luck would have it I somehow stumbled onto these incredible hats by Topsy Turvy Design (also an Etsy seller). This hat would be the perfect accoutrement to either or both of these dresses:

I am currently working towards an MFA in Creative and Professional Writing at Wesern Connecticut State University. My first novel in the historical fiction genre will be out in 2012. Look for me on the bestseller's list in a couple of years! As a vintage fashion retailer, my journey began when I was a little girl. I would go through a chest that my stylish French mother kept up in the attic. Among the artifacts of books, pictures and clothing were a 1950's wiggle dress reminiscent of Ceil Chapman The other item was a pair of candy apple red stiletto high heels also from the 50's. Ever since I can remember, an intense curiosity and passion for history has haunted me. It was as if by seeing, touching, smelling and trying these items on that I was absorbing the essence of the past through each cell of my being. My penchant for vintage clothing and fashion is born of this and Bring It Back Vintage is my way of bringing this love to you. I hope you will enjoy perusing our inventory of quality hand picked vintage frocks.
Warmest Regards,
Anne Marie
